Preparing data

 

Offset sheet and digital sheet printing

  • The PDF file to be printed must be generated according to the attached annex
  • Minimum of 3 mm bleed
  • Cropping marks
  • CMYK colour mode (if spot colours are being used, define the spot colour in  Pantone) 
  • Image resolution min. 254 dpi 
  • Data must be without an inserted ICC profile 
  • Brochures must have individual pages in sequence in pdf (without compiling and feeding) 
  • If the data contains a section line, then it is necessary to put it in a spot colour with an overprint 
  • All fonts must be inserted in pdf 
  • Be careful with the placement of the text when using V1 binding, a larger number of pages means a thicker spine 
  • Be careful with the placement of the text when using V2 binding, you must allow 2-3 mm for milling the spine 
  • Ideal setting for black: CMYK:60:60:60:100 
  • Logos: supplied in traces (vectors) 
  • To ensure the colour bring a proof-sheet
 

 Large-format printing

  • The PDF file to be printed must be generated according to the attached annex
  • Minimum of 5 mm bleed
  • Cropping marks
  • CMYK colour mode
  • Spot colours used in Pantone convert to CMYK
  • Define white colour as spot colour 
  • Data must be without an inserted ICC profile
  • If the data contains a section line, then it is necessary to put it in a spot colour with an overprint 
  • Image resolution is dependent on size and placement: exterior: no smaller than 72 dpi (for billboards min. 36 dpi) and interior from 150 dpi and higher
  • If the data is prepared in a ratio, please state this ration in the order (ideal ratio for BB 1:10)
  • All fonts must be inserted in pdf
  • Ideal setting for black: : CMYK:60:60:60:100
  • Logos: supplied in traces (vectors)
  • To ensure the colour bring a proof-sheet
